USES OF NFC:
- Online Payments: Similar to credit cards the user can now make payments of bills online through NFC enabled device.
- Internet Connections: The NFC offers a very low speed of internet with an extremely simple setup that will enable users to transfer documents and use internet through Wi-Fi.
- Social Networking: The user can share images, videos, contacts etc. using NFC on social networking sites.
- Identity Documents: Like an e-wallet the NFC enabled devices can also act as an electronic identity documents and keycards.
Jelly Bean has done its debut with on Google Nexus 7 tablet and till mid-July the operating system will be availed on Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola Xoom tablet. Updates of other devices will be announced later.
