OnePlus launches first of its kind OnePlus TV Product Ninjas Program for community

After the successful launch of the OnePlus TV Q1 series in the Indian market, OnePlus today launched a first of its kind community initiative called ‘OnePlus TV Product Ninjas Program’. This India focused initiative extends OnePlus’ user co-creation spirit further towards OnePlus TV, inviting community members to contribute towards co-creating localized features with the OnePlus TV team.

Similar to the popular OnePlus Open Ears Forum held by the leading premium smartphone brand for its community, OnePlus looks at replicating the smartphone product success with its newest member, the OnePlus TV in a similar format. With community serving as one of its key strengths, the brand is now looking at inviting community members who are keen to contribute creatively in the brand’s innovation efforts towards the Smart TV and IoT segment.

Addressing the new OnePlus TV Product Ninjas program, Todd Wang, Product Manager for OnePlus TV, India shared, “Ever since its launch in India, OnePlus TV has been garnering a lot of interest among our community and Indian users at large. By introducing the new community program, we hope to empower our community and play a more integral role in our product development efforts and help us set new benchmarks globally. Chosen members will work closely with the product team to design and develop new, customized features. Our community members will also gain an opportunity to witness their unique ideas come to life in the brand’s offerings. As a community-centric, brand we look forward to working with a whole new set of creative minds in the country,”

The community forum post on the OnePlus TV Product Ninjas Program . The program is also expected to offer a series of online activities and special community events involving exclusive OnePlus product experiences and community sessions to drive greater engagement and collaborative spirit. OnePlus India community members and smart tech enthusiasts are invited to apply and will be chosen through a special recruitment process starting today.

OnePlus has been driving several community-led initiatives lately with large-scale events like OnePlus Music Festival and Concept One Tour for community wherein the brand has been offering unique experiences for community members across India. In addition, the brand also introduced Red Cable Club, celebrating a five million-strong India community. The Red Cable Club is an exclusive community of OnePlus users with access to amazing members-only perks and experiences.
