HTC Desire SV Launched in India

Taiwanese smart-phone manufacturer, HTC, has launched a new mid range smart-phone HTC Desire SV in India. The smart-phone priced Rs. 22,600 is running on Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Powered by 1GHz dual core Cortex A5 processor is a dual SIM smart-phone supporting GSM based network. The smart-phone having a 4.3 inch LCD2 capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors and 480×800 pixels of resolution is pre-loaded with Beats Audio sound enhancement for full HD quality audio.

The GSM device offers internal storage of 4GB for songs, videos, images, applications and other utility software along with 768MB RAM and microSD card upto 32GB. It has an 8MP camera featuring LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus and 3264×2448 pixels of resolution, although no front camera for video calling is there. For wireless connectivity the device has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n & Wi-Fi hotspot and for device to device connectivity it has Bluetooth v4.0 and microUSB v2.0.

Other features include accelerometer, HTML5 browser, SNS integration, free Dropbox cloud storage upto 25GB, organizer, MP3/MP4 player, photo viewer/editor, predictive text input, voice memo etc. The smart-phone is available two different color variations, Radical Yellow and Stealth Black along with a standard Li-ion 1620 mAh battery. The smart-phone will hit mobile stores in Indian market in the festive season of Diwali in November.
