Global technology brand OnePlus today announced that OnePlus 15R, its ultimate value flagship device, and OnePlus Pad Go 2, its latest mid-range tablet, will debut live at a keynote event in front of thousands of OnePlus Community members in Bengaluru, India. OnePlus also revealed new details about both OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 to celebrate its 12th anniversary, as well as kicking off celebrations within the OnePlus Community.

OnePlus 15R camera and performance details revealed
OnePlus today revealed new details about OnePlus 15R’s camera and performance technology, proving that the device is worthy to be part of the legendary OnePlus R Series.

First, the OnePlus 15R has been confirmed to feature the new Detailmax Engine, which means it has the same advanced computational photography algorithms found inside the widely acclaimed OnePlus 15. All three advanced technologies found in OnePlus 15 – Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst and the Clear Night Engine – are also present in OnePlus 15R to truly level up your photography.

When it comes to gaming, the OnePlus 15R continues the R Series’ legacy of strong performance thanks to its combination of triple-chip technology. This includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, with OnePlus 15R being the first device to launch globally featuring this new co-defined and co-optimized flagship chipset. OnePlus 15R also features the new G2 Wi-Fi chip, which ensures strong Wi-Fi connectivity wherever you are, and the Touch Response Chip, which allows OnePlus 15R to sense touch significantly quicker than other devices.

Finally, the OnePlus 15R has also been confirmed to feature a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, meaning the gaming advantage continues thanks to a refresh rate that goes above and beyond to help you see enemies earlier and react quicker. The display also excels outside of gaming with a massive 450 pixels per inch and the ability to go from 1800 nits of brightness all the way down to 2 nits by default or 1 nit with Reduce White Point activated.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 display technology revealed
OnePlus also confirmed that the OnePlus Pad Go 2, its latest mid-range tablet, is equipped with an excellent display. Reaching a huge 12.1 inch or 30.73 cm, OnePlus Pad Go 2’s 2.8K display has 284 pixels per inch, a peak brightness of 900 nits and reaches 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It also supports Dolby Vision and supports all-day comfort with TÜV Rheinland Smart Care 4.0 certification.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will also feature the self-developed Open Canvas software, widely seen as one of the best ways to multitask on a large display. Using intuitive touch controls, users of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 can easily activate split screen mode and switch between multiple windows effortlessly.

OnePlus 12th anniversary celebrations
OnePlus is also marking its 12th anniversary this week with a new letter from Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, and the launch of the OnePlus Run 2.0 game, complete with exciting prizes on offer.

The letter, available to view on the OnePlus Community, sees Pete reflect on the past year and highlight OnePlus’ renewed focus on helping everyone, especially the rising young generation, power their lives through innovative and burdenless technology.

Meanwhile, fans will also be able to play the new OnePlus Run 2.0 game this week, starring OnePlus’ beloved mascot Una, and have the chance of winning OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 and OnePlus 15 devices. OnePlus has also revealed two new versions of Una – Christmas Una and Diwali Una – as part of the Celebrations Una Collection, which will be available to fans around the world. Diwali Una appears in a colorful Kurta Pyjama, bringing joy and blessings to all, while Christmas Celebration Una wears a Scottish-themed tartan outfit, adding a touch of festive magic to the season.
