Amazon today announced the launch of its all-new Echo Show 11 and fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays with Alexa in India. The devices feature an all-new audio architecture and Omnisense custom sensor platform, along with a new design that includes edge-to-edge glass displays and thin bezels. These devices offer deep bass and crisp vocals, and simplified smart home routines using motion, presence, and temperature detection. Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 have maximised viewing area at 11 inches and 8.7 inches, respectively, compared to previous Echo Show smart displays in India.
Through on-screen touch controls and hands-free voice commands to Alexa, Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 help customers control compatible smart home devices, set smart home routines, enjoy audio-visual content from compatible apps, and navigate daily tasks like managing calendars and shopping lists, and asking for recipes.

Embrace the convenience of advanced home automation
Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 are powered by AZ3 Pro, a custom-designed silicon chip enabling fast performance. Built on top of this silicon is Omnisense, a custom sensor platform designed for ambient AI. It uses a range of sensors and signals, including the 13-megapixel (MP) camera, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI to deliver personalised, proactive, and helpful Alexa experiences.
This enables automated responses like adjusting compatible smart lights when someone enters a room or triggering temperature-based routines when the room reaches a certain temperature. Customers can set up smart home routines through the Alexa app.

Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 feature an 11-inch full HD and 8.7-inch HD edge-to-edge glass display, respectively, offering vivid colours and sharp picture definition. The new build includes a sleek design, 3D-knit fabric, thin bezels that maximises the displays’ viewing area, and ambient visuals that adapt to the environment for viewing comfort. The high-definition displays are complemented by a 13MP camera with centred auto-framing, and noise reduction technology, enabling clear video calls and conversations with friends and family who have Echo smart displays or the Alexa app.
Enjoy room-filling sound with spatial audio
The all-new audio architecture on Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 makes them Amazon’s best sounding smart displays currently available in India. Both devices come with front-firing stereo speakers and a custom woofer for room-filling sound with spatial audio. The full-range drivers are placed under the displays and are designed to fire audio frontwards to deliver clear sound with crisp vocals directly toward the customer.
Customers can stream their favourite music, podcasts, or audiobooks through service providers like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, JioSaavn, or Audible (subscription fees may apply).
Access hands-free entertainment
Customers can make the most of the screens on Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 to access and stream video content from apps like Prime Video and Netflix, and YouTube via Silk browser (subscription fees may apply). They can either use the touch screen or simply ask Alexa to play TV shows, movies, workout and recipe videos, and more.
View multiple-camera live feeds on a single screen
Customers can monitor their homes and check in on family or pets using the ‘Drop In’ feature. They can even pair compatible security cameras and video doorbells with their device to view up to four live camera feeds on their device’s screen.
Built with privacy in mind
