Snapdeal, India’s largest online marketplace, today announced an exclusive partnership with Decathlon, one of world’s largest sporting goods retailers. As a part of the association, Snapdeal customers will have access to the impressive range of sportswear and sports equipment from Decathlon on a dedicated brand store.
The entire Decathlon product range that includes over 5,000 products and equipment for over 40 sports will be available on Snapdeal’s website. The online store will feature various products starting as low as Rs 99.
Speaking about the partnership Rahul Taneja, Vice President – Category Management, Snapdeal said – “We are excited to partner with Decathlon to bring their range online. The category has grown by 200 percent during the past year as is likely to be a high growth segment with customers becoming more fitness conscious. Shopping trends recorded on Snapdeal for the year 2015 revealed sales of products in the Fitness category have tripled in 2015 compared to the year before.
