Verizon in association with Samsung has launched a new smart-phone named Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere 2 priced $129.99. This is an average smart-phone with a list of decent features and specifications. The smart-phone running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich is powered with 1.2GHz dual core krait processor with 1GM RAM to ensure efficient performance of the device. It has a 4.0 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch-screen offering 16M colors and 480×800 pixels of resolution along with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The new Verizon device has an internal memory of 8GB for songs, videos, images, applications and all other stuff you might want to have in it. Also it features a 5MP back camera with auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging and 2592×1944 pixels of resolution and a 1.3MP front camera for video calling. For wireless connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA & Wi-Fi hotspot and for device to device connectivity it has Bluetooth v4.0 and microUSB v2.0.
Other features include accelerometer, HTML5, SNS integration, NFC & GPS support, MP3/MP4 player, image/video editor, document viewer, Google search/maps, predictive text input, voice memo etc. The Android handset available only in black color in the market is coming with a standard Li-ion 1800mAh battery. So, buyers if looking for a handset then with a list of the above mentioned features at this price can be considered.
