Samsung Galaxy Mega Launch Event is finally here, after several speculations about launch of Samsung Mega which is a new addition in Samsung’s Galaxy range, Samsung officially has confirmed that they will be launching the Galaxy Mega in India today (28May, 2013). India will be one of the first country to get this supersized phablet. Samsung India confirmed the launch via Twitter of Galaxy Mega which features

- 1.4GHz dual-core processor
- 1.5GB RAM
- 8-megapixel rear camera
- 1.9-megapixel front camera
- 8 GB internal memory
- 64 GB Expandable
- Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery
- 540 x 960 pixels, 5.8 inches (~190 ppi pixel density)
Samsung Glaxy Mega is a 182 grams light weight smartphone having a TFT capacitive touchscreen & will be having a dual SIM feature. If rumors are to be believed then Samsung also has a roadmap for a larger Galaxy Mega 6.3 device which may or may not launch it today together with the Galaxy Mega 5.8. Galaxy Mega 5.8 is expected to be priced in a range between Rs 25,000 to 30,000.
