Coolpad introduces multi- lingual update

Coolpad, a global leader in smartphone manufacturing and integrated wireless data solutions announced today the availability of regional language user interface and applications for its Indian customers. The language includes Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The regional language support will be available in the last two phones that the company launched over a period of 8 months which are the Coolpad Note 3 & the Note 3 Lite.

Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India said, “We clearly see India’s multi-lingual market provides a huge potential to expand our reach. This roll out is a result of the feedback that we have received from our users, along with need amongst our esteemed consumes to communicate in their local language using their handset. Thus being a people’s brand, we are introducing the language update and providing Coolpad users the ease of accessing information as well as usage in their preferred language” 

He further added, “Today, smartphones have become an essential part of our life, it is the ultimate gateway for those who want to access information on-the-go. And with this endeavor, we commit ourselves to roll out initiatives, which will create better and enhanced mobile experience for our consumers.”

The forum also has a tutorial on how to download and use this update on their Coolpad smartphones. However users should capture relevant backups before proceeding to update their devices, as the regional update is in beta version.
